Four Seasons Of A Beech Tree

I love this tree!!! (click on the image to open the blog page then again to see the image in full)

It has taken me several years to build up a full four seasons series of images but finally I managed to snap a good Spring image of this wonderful beech tree near to where I live in Gloucestershire. The scene epitomises some of the expansive rolling landscape of the Cotswold District, which and as you can see it varies greatly over the year. I still am not 100% done with this tree however, as another local photographer kindly informed me that the field is sometimes full of rapeseed… 🙁 update… no rapeseed in 2015 so see you in 2016 Mr Beech Tree!). Hopefully I can finally complete the four seasons set with a Spring carpet of yellow rapeseed flowers.

More images of this tree can be found in my portfolio or shop.
